     Among all the item and product displayed here, 'Orang Ulu Warrior Shield' was impressed me the most. What make it special is about the it unique craved on the surface of the shield. I can not imagine how long they took to make these craft that shown the identity of Orang Ulu specialities and identity. Luckily, i have an opportunity to see one of the oldest Orang Ulu Warrior Shield displayed here and it was believed in 100 years of ages .

     Exotic instruments lover might love this shop gallery. Anyone who came to this shop would felt excited to see various kind of a hundred years of instruments product as well as handicraft of Iban, Orang Ulu and Malay . You can explore many  instrument represent their respective races. Sapeh or ' Sape' was one of them. It was traditional lute of Orang Ulu that live in central of Central Borneo. Sape was made from a single bole of wood and normally some Sape are craved with Orang Ulu 's symbol and pattern. A primitive and exotic type of Sape are normally have two strings and only three frets. The Sape is relatively a simple instrument, with one strings carrying the melody and the accompanying strings as rhythmic drones. In fact, there are a few of exotic 'Sape' instrument which still preserved by this shop.

     Soon Lee Shops also one of the famous exotic and handicraft products in Kuching. The product displayed here mostly made from bamboo such as bamboo mate, Iban ' sumpit', instruments, and souvenir. However, what make this shop so special is because of two items , wooden human face craved and iban ' tanglong' . Human face craved is the made by iban tribe as the art of iban identity which we could find in some poles around their resident village. Here, it sold with reasonable price depend on it size and pattern of the craved. Meanwhile , Iban 'Tanglong' is a unique sound instrument made from reeds of bamboo that cut in different size to be hang at ceiling area, normally at corridor ceiling. It will create a unique sound and melody when it being inflatable by wind. This exotic instrument is believed invented almost 100 years ago by some ethnic at longhouse in Borneo. Todays, it's not limited to be used by certain ethnic, but we could find people in housing and urban area also make it as their home decoration.
